Innopolis University is meant to be a brain force, an integral element of a new Innopolis city – the future IT capital of Russia. The mission of Innopolis project is to create favourable opportunities for the economic growth of the Russian Federation through further development of Information Technology, improving the welfare of the nation and creation of a highly professional and intellectual society.

Luiz Jonata Pires de Araujo
Faculty Fellow
Luiz Araujo is a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham (UK), having integrated the Automated Scheduling, optimisAtion and Planning (ASAP) research group. Currently, he works as a Faculty Fellow at Innopolis University, Russian Federation, in the lab of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. His areas of interest include optimisation, evolutionary algorithms, cutting and packing, and 3D Printing. Recently assume the position of co-leader of the internal project in Innopolis working on BioDynaMo framework, a simulation tool maintained by CERN.
Alexandr Grichshenko
Bachelor Student
Alexandr is a third-year bachelor student of Computer Science at Innopolis University, Russia. Conducted research, published several academic papers and participated in internal projects in the lab of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. His research interests include optimization, machine learning and mathematical programming applied to real-world problems.
Bram Grooten
Master Student
Bram is a Master Student at Eindhoven University of Technology and a chairperson of Serpentine AI - a team comprised of students dedicated to innovation in artificial intelligence.
Ilia Milyoshin
Bachelor Student
Ilia is a first-year bachelor student at Innopolis University, Russia. He is a very diligent student, passionate about programming.
